Content & listing policy

1. How listings are made

We put each listing together and keep it up to date with new places and corrections sent by visitors and business owners. A person reviews every change before it appears on the site.

We do not invent missing details. When details disagree, a person decides which one to keep. If something is wrong, tap Something is wrong on the place page.

2. How we check listings

• A person reviews every new place, correction and report before the site changes.
• Each listing shows whether it was verified by the editor, verified by the community, or not yet verified, and when it was last checked.
• If a map pin is only approximate, the page says so.
• When a reviewer confirms that a business has closed, its listing is marked closed or removed.

3. Business owners: correct or remove your listing

You can ask us to correct your listing, add missing details or remove it. It is free.

• Correct: open your listing and use Suggest a correction, or email us.
• Remove: email manapparai.com@gmail.com with the listing's web address and the reason. We may ask you to show that you own or represent the business, for example by writing from the business's email or answering a call on the listed number.
• Your personal details: if a listing shows your personal mobile number or your name and you want them taken off, we will remove them even if the business listing stays.

Timelines. We acknowledge every request within 24 hours and act on it within 7 days. Approved changes appear the next time the site is published.

Being listed is free. We do not charge to add, correct or remove a listing, and a sponsored placement does not change this.

4. Community rules for submissions and reports

• Send only what you know to be true, and say how you know it if you can (for example "I visited on 20 September").
• One vote per listing is enough. Votes and reports that look automated or repeated are ignored.
• Report problems with the listing itself: a wrong phone number or address, a closed business, a fake listing. Personal disputes with a business, and reviews of service quality, do not belong here.
• No abuse, hate, advertising, or private people's personal details in notes or submissions.
• Do not pretend to be a business or another person.

We may reject any submission or report that breaks these rules or our Terms of Use.

5. News, videos and posts

News and videos are collected automatically and must mention Manapparai; news articles must come from a list of known publishers. Instagram posts are chosen by hand. We show the headline, the source and the date, and link to the original. We do not write or edit news. To have an item removed, email us its link.

6. Sponsored listings and ads

Sponsored placements are labelled Sponsored and ad spaces are labelled Advertisement. We do not accept ads that break the law or our Terms of Use.
